The Bluenotecats A Modern Rockabilly Trio.. Fourteen years ago Dalton Piercey and Greg Gallup met at an open call audition for the Bluenotecats and formed the beginning of the Rockabilly Trio. Soon Djordje Stijepovic the Master Slap Bassist showed up on the scene in 2004 and the trio played for three years with Djordje. The time soon arrived when the “Hot Kat” from Serbia would make his talent known and opportunities to tour with other musicians would be offered. However Djordje recorded two albums worth of music with Dalton and Greg before he could no longer ignore the demand for his talent. The drummer and guitarist continued on with the Bluenotecats performing with various sub-bassists and concentrating on the production of the recordings. Yet, Dalton and Greg continued to keep working on the recordings. Djordje was called to record Bass for some additional tracks in 2010. The bandmate was down for the visit. In the meantime Greg got an offer to perform with a Honky Tonk band, so Greg made a move to Chico, California. Djordje found his way to L.A. and Greg moved to Portland.
